Performance study of air source heat pump coupled to floor heating in arid regions

Abstract

Air source heat pumps are widely used for heating and cooling in buildings. However, in arid regions during, their efficiency decreases, and becomes a significant issue during winter night. Numerical studies will be performed for the subject, to studythe influence of different weather conditions on the heating performance and efficiency in order to improve air-source heat pumps coupled to floor heating in arid regions with respect to Variable Speed Drives (VSD) cycling.

Les pompes à chaleur aérothermiques sont largement utilisées pour le chauffage et le refroidissement des bâtiments. Cependant, dans les régions arides, leur efficacité diminue, ce qui devient un problème significatif pendant les nuits d'hiver. Des études numériques seront réalisées sur ce sujet pour étudier l'influence des différentes conditions météorologiques sur la performance de chauffage et l'efficacité, afin d'améliorer les pompes à chaleur aérothermiques couplées à la chaleur par le sol dans les régions arides en tenant compte des cycles des variateurs de vitesse (VSD).
