أثر تقلبات سعر الصرف على الميزان التجاري لدول شمال افريقيا للفترة: (1995-2023) دراسة قياسية باستخدام نماذج بانل

Abstract

عالجت هذه الدراسة موضوع سعر الصرف وأثر تقلباتها عن الميزان التجاري مع دراسة تحليلية وقياسية لحالة اقتصاد دول شمال إفريقيا خلال الفترة: (1995-2023) هدفت هذه الدراسة في الجانب النظري إلى توضيح أهم مفاهيم المتعلقة بأسعار الصرف والميزان التجاري والعلاقة القائمة بينهما أما الجانب التطبيقي فهدفت الدراسة إلى تحليل وقياس أثر تقلبات سعر الصرف عن الميزان التجاري وذلك باستعمال الأسلوب القياسي المتمثل في بانل الساكن وخلص نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة عكسية لأثر سعر الصرف عن ميزان تجاري

The exchange rate is among the key determinants of the trade balance. This study addressed the topic of the exchange rate and the impact of its fluctuations on the trade balance through an analytical and econometric study applied to the economies of North African countries over the period (1995–2023).The study aimed, on the theoretical side, to clarify the main concepts related to exchange rates, the trade balance, and the relationship between them. On the applied side, the study sought to analyze and measure the effect of exchange rate fluctuations on the trade balance using the static panel data model as the primary econometric tool. The findings revealed an inverse relationship between exchange rate fluctuations and the trade balance, indicating that depreciation of the local currency does not necessarily lead to an improvement in the trade balance.
