Abstract

: يُعد نوى التمر من النفايات الزراعية الغنية بالكربون، ويمكن تحويله إلى فحم نشط بطرق بسيطة وفعالة، مما يجعله مادة واعدة في مجال معالجة المياه الملوثة. تبدأ عملية التحضير بتجفيف نوى التمر جيدًا ثم طحنه، يليه التفحيم عند درجات حرارة مرتفعة (عادة بين 400 و800 درجة مئوية) في غياب الأكسجين، ثم يُفعل كيميائيًا باستخدام مواد مثل حمض الفوسفوريك أو كلوريد الزنك لتعزيز خصائص الامتزاز. يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تحضير الفحم المنشط من نوى التمر واستغلاله في معالجة التلوث البيئي، خاصة في تنقية المياه من الملوثات. يُعَدّ نوى التمر من المخلفات الزراعية المتوفرة بكثرة، مما يجعله مادة أولية مناسبة لإنتاج الفحم المنشط بطريقة اقتصادية ومستدامة

Date pits are a carbon-rich agricultural waste that can be converted into activated charcoal in simple and efficient ways, making it a promising material for the treatment of contaminated water. The preparation process starts with thorough drying and grinding of date kernels, followed by charring at high temperatures (usually between 400 and 800°C) in the absence of oxygen, and then chemically activated with substances such as phosphoric acid or zinc chloride to enhance the adsorption properties. This research aims to study the preparation of activated charcoal from date pits and its utilisation in the treatment of environmental pollution, especially in the purification of water from pollutants. Date pits are an abundant agricultural waste, making it a suitable raw material for the production of activated charcoal in an economical and sustainable manner
