Abstract: The study’s aim was to explore the electronic games addiction among a sample of middle school teenagers, and to know the difference in the level of addiction to these games in terms of : age, type of game, duration of playing, interaction between these variables). To achieve the objectives of the study, we relied on the descriptive approach, where a stratified sample of 253 adolescents was selected in the middle education stage. We utilised Houda Mustafa Abdelaal electronic games addiction scale for the study data collection which was attached by the data form of every participant. The study revealed that the addiction to electronic games is prevalent to a low degree among the middle school adolescents who have a tendency to use fighting and violence games. The study also showed that there is a difference in the average addiction to electronic games among adolescents in the middle education stage due to the variable of playing duration. On the other hand, there is no difference in the average addiction to these games among the same group due to the variables of age, as well as the interaction between age, type of electronic game and playing duration variables
