dc.description.abstractClinical reality shows that anorexia nervosa is a common disorder during puberty and adolescence, which has serious repercussions on the psychological and mental health of adolescents and on their psychological and social adjustment. There has been great controversy regarding its causes, factors of occurrence, and related therapeutic practices. From this standpoint, this article attempts to discuss this controversy and present the various explanatory models for the disorder to come up with a comprehensive view and a multidimensional approach that represents an important reference for psychological care and treatmenten_US
