dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a group-Counseling program in reducing the level of career future anxiety among job seekers in the Sultanate of Oman. The sample consisted of 30 male and female job seekers (15 experimental and 15 control). The experimental group undergone a group-Counseling program, while the control group did not receive any processing. The study was based on a semi-experimental approach. The scale of career future anxiety was applied (30 items). The results of the two-way ANCOVA analysis showed that there were significant differences in the post-test between the control and the experimental in favor of the experimental. The results also showed that there were no differences between male and female, and there was interaction between gender and group. The results of the ANOVA Repeated Measures revealed statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test in favor of post-test, and no significant differences between the post-test and the follow-up test, indicating the effectiveness of the program.en_US
