جدل الدين والتفكير العقلي في إلهيات إخوان الصفا

Abstract

نسعى من خلال إنجاز هذ الأطروحة التعرض لموضوع مهم لايزال يشغل الباحثين في الفكر الإسلامي المعاصر وهو جدلية الدين والعقل، بعنوان: جدل الدين والتفكير العقلي في إلهيات إخوان الصفا، وغايتنا من ذلك تبيان مفهوم كل من الدين والعقل عند إخوان الصفا، والكشف عن العلاقة الجدلية بينهما، ورغم أنها قضية كلاسيكية في الفكر الإسلامي، إلا أن إخوان الصفا قدموا قراءة جديدة في مايخص هذه الجدلية، وتكمن أهمية الموضوع في تسليط الضوء على منهج إخوان الصفا في عملية التوفيق بين الدين والعقل، فالدين مجموعة القواعد التي تنظم المجتمع، ووسيلة للوصول إلى الحقيقة الأخلاقية والميتافريقية، والعقل هبة إلهية تميز الإنسان عن باقي الكائنات، ووسيلة نحو بلوغ المعرفة وفهم الدين، وبالتالي سنحاول من خلال هذا البحث إبراز أهمية كل من الدين والعقل عند إخوان الصفا وعلاقتهم المتداخلة، وكذلك إبراز منهجهم العقلي وعلاقته بالدين، وكذلك تجلّي نزعتهم التنويرية و التربوية والأخلاقية جراء نزعتهم التوفيقية بين الدين والعقل. .

À travers la réalisation de cette thèse, nous cherchons à aborder un sujet important qui continue de préoccuper les chercheurs en pensée islamique contemporaine, à savoir la dialectique entre religion et raison, sous le titre : La dialectique de la religion et de la pensée rationnelle dans la théologie des Frères de la Pureté "Ikhwân as-Safâ". Notre objectif est de clarifier la conception que les Frères de la Pureté ont de la religion et de la raison, ainsi que de révéler la relation dialectique qui les unit. Bien qu’il s’agisse d’une question classique dans la pensée islamique, les Frères de la Pureté ont proposé une lecture nouvelle de cette dialectique. L’importance de ce sujet réside dans la mise en lumière de la méthode adoptée par les Frères de la Pureté pour concilier religion et raison. La religion est un ensemble de règles qui organisent la société et constitue un moyen d’atteindre la vérité morale et métaphysique, tandis que la raison est un don divin qui distingue l’homme des autres créatures et représente un moyen d’accéder à la connaissance et de comprendre la religion. Ainsi, à travers cette recherche, nous tenterons de mettre en évidence l’importance de la religion et de la raison chez les Frères de la Pureté et leur relation intrinsèque, ainsi que de souligner leur méthode rationnelle et sa relation avec la religion, sans oublier de montrer leur tendance éclairée, éducative et éthique résultant de leur approche conciliatrice entre religion et raison

Through the completion of this dissertation, we aim to address an important topic that continues to engage researchers in contemporary Islamic thought: the dialectic between religion and reason, under the title: The Dialectic of Religion and Rational Thought in the Theology of the Brethren of Purity. Our goal is to clarify the concepts of religion and reason as understood by the Brethren of Purity, and to uncover the dialectical relationship between them. Although this is a classical issue in Islamic thought, the Brethren of Purity offered a novel interpretation of this dialectic. The significance of this topic lies in highlighting the methodology adopted by the Brethren of Purity in reconciling religion and reason. Religion is seen as a set of rules that organize society and as a means to attain moral and metaphysical truth, while reason is a divine gift that distinguishes humans from other beings and serves as a path to knowledge and understanding of religion. Therefore, through this research, we seek to emphasize the importance of both religion and reason for the Brethren of Purity and their interconnected relationship, as well as to highlight their rational methodology and its connection to religion, and to demonstrate their enlightened, educational, and ethical tendencies resulting from their reconciliatory approach between religion and reason.
