تأثير خصائص مجلس الإدارة ولجنة التدقيق على جودة الأرباح

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى اختبار تأثير خصائص مجلس الادارة ولجنة التدقيق على جودة الأرباح لعينة مكونة من 16 شركة صناعية مدرجة في سوق الأوراق المالية عمان الأردن خلال الفترة 2015 - 2021, ولتحقيق هذا الهدف اعتمدت الدراسة على بناء نموذج لبيانات بانل Panel Data Model حيث تضمن جودة الأرباح كمتغير تابع، وحجم مجلس الإدارة، ازدواجية المنصب التنفيذي، عدد اجتماعات مجلس الادارة، حجم لجنة التدقيق، استقلالية لجنة التدقيق، خبرة لجنة التدقيق، كمتغيرات مستقلة. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة عكسية بين ازدواجية المنصب التنفيذي وجودة الأرباح، وعلاقة طردية بين عدد اجتماعات مجلس الادارة وجودة الأرباح، وجود علاقة طردية بين حجم لجنة التدقيق وجودة الأرباح، وعدم وجود علاقة بين كل من: حجم مجلس الإدارة، استقلالية لجنة التدقيق، خبرة لجنة التدقيق، وجودة الأرباح.

The aim of this study is to test the impact of board of directors and audit committee characteristics on earnings quality for a sample of 16 industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange in Jordan during the period 2015-2021. The study relied on building a panel data model, including earnings quality as a dependent variable and board size, CEO duality, board meetings, audit committee size, independence, and expertise as independent variables. The results of the study showed a negative relationship between CEO duality and earnings quality, a positive relationship between board meetings and earnings quality, and a positive relationship between audit committee size and earnings quality. However, there was no relationship between board size, audit committee independence, audit committee expertise, and earnings quality.
