Etude critique de la pratique de l’alimentation de l’élevage ovin dans la région de Touggourt

Abstract

L’objectif de ce travail est de diagnostiquer la pratique de l’alimentation des ovins, dans la région de Touggourt et proposer des rations adéquates, suivant la disponibilité des aliments. Pour permettre d'atteindre la plus grande efficacité de production et la meilleure santé possible du troupeau, au coût le plus économique possible . Cette étude vise également à guider les éleveurs vers des pratiques alimentaires efficaces basées sur des principes scientifiques et pratiques, minimisant le gaspillage d'aliments, réduisant le recours inconsidéré aux aliments concentrés et contribuant à améliorer le rendement économique de l'exploitation. En résumé, proposer des rations adaptées est un moyen d'équilibrer la santé animale et la rentabilité de l'éleveur et d'assurer la durabilité de la production animale. Les principaux résultats de notre étude montrent que la majorité des éleveurs ne suivent pas une ration équilibrée et adaptée à leurs troupeaux, et ont recours à un gaspillage alimentaire basé sur une utilisation excessive de concentrés au dépend des aliments grossiers. Nos rations proposées ont pris en compte les besoins de l’animal, la disponibilité des aliments de l’exploitation, ainsi que le principe de l’utilisation maximale des aliments grossier suivant la capacité d’ingestion (unité d’encombrement) de l’animal, tout en prenant en compte l’aspect économique (cout de la ration).

The objective of this study is to assess sheep feeding practices in the Touggourt region and propose appropriate rations based on feed availability. This will help achieve the highest production efficiency and best possible herd health at the most economical cost. This study also aims to guide farmers toward effective feeding practices based on scientific and practical principles, minimizing feed waste, reducing the indiscriminate use of concentrate feed, and helping to improve the farm's economic performance. In summary, providing appropriate rations is a way to balance animal health and farmer profitability and ensure the sustainability of livestock production. The main findings of our study show that the majority of farmers do not follow a balanced ration adapted to their herds and resort to feed waste based on excessive use of concentrates at the expense of roughage. Our proposed rations have taken into account the needs of the animal, the availability of feed on the farm, as well as the principle of maximum use of coarse feed according to the ingestion capacity (unit of space) of the animal, while taking into account the economic aspect (cost of the ration).

يهدف هذا العمل إلى تشخيص ممارسة تغذية األغنام في منطقة تقرت واقتراح حصص مناسبة، اعتمادًا على توفر الغذاء. لتمكين تحقيق أعلى كفاءة إنتاجية ممكنة وصحة القطيع بأقل تكلفة اقتصادية. وتهدف هذه الدراسة أيضًا إلى توجيه المزارعين نحو ممارسات التغذية الفعالة المبنية على أسس علمية وعملية، وتقليل هدر األعالف، والحد من االستخدام العشوائي لألعالف المركزة، والمساعدة في تحسين األداء االقتصادي للمزرعة. باختصار، يعد توفير الحصص الغذائية المناسبة وسيلة لتحقيق التوازن بين صحة الحيوان وربحية المزارع وضمان استدامة اإلنتاج الحيواني. تشير النتائج الرئيسية لدراستنا إلى أن غالبية المربين ال يتبعون نظام غذائي متوازن يتناسب مع قطعانهم، ويلجؤون إلى هدر الغذاء القائم على االستخدام المفرط للمركزات على حساب األعالف الخشنة. لقد أخذت حصصنا المقترحة في االعتبار احتياجات الحيوان، وتوافر األعالف فيالمزرعة، وكذلك مبدأ االستخدام األقصى لألعالف الخشنة وفقًا لقدرة الحيوان على االبتالع (وحدة المساحة)، مع األخذ في االعتبار الجانب االقتصادي (تكلفة الحصة).
