Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إقتراح نسخة إلكترونية لاختبار الفحص المختصر للحالة العقلية (MMSE) وتقييم مدى فعاليتها، من خلال دراسة ميدانية نفسية عصبية ،أجريت على ثلاث حالات من المصابين بأمراض تنكسية (ألزهيمر ،باركنسون ، تصلب لويحي)،انطلقت الدراسة من تساؤلات تمحورت حول مدى فعالية النسخة الإلكترونية في عملية التقييم، ومدى حساسيتها للكشف عن الإصابات الدماغية، ومدى تفاعل الحالات مع النسخة الالكترونية من وجهة نظر المختصين الأرطوفونيين. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي بتقنية دراسة حالة ،مع تطبيق النسخة الإلكترونية للاختبار على العينة المدروسة، تم تحليل النتائج بناءً على مقاييس الأداء ومستوى الاستجابة والملاحظات السريرية للمختصين، وتمثلت الفرضيات في: - نتوقع أن يكون تقييم الحالة العقلية بالنسخة الالكترونية لاختبار الفحص المختصر للحالة العقلية(MMSE) فعالا. - تحافظ النسخة الالكترونية لاختبار الفحص المختصر للحالة العقلية(MMSE) على نفس مستوى الحساسية التي تمتلكه النسخة الورقية. - تتفاعل الحالات مع تطبيق اختبار الفحص المختصر للحالة العقلية (MMSE) في نسخته الالكترونية بشكل جيد من وجهة نظر المختصين الارطفونيين. أسفرت نتائج الدراسة على تحقق الفرضيات الثلاثة، حيث أظهرت النسخة الإلكترونية فعالية عالية، مع المحافظة على مستوى الحساسية التشخيصية، وتفاعل إيجابي ومشجع من طرف الحالات من وجهة نظر المختصين، الذين أكدوا على سهولة استخدام النسخة الالكترونية المقترحة لاختبار الفحص المختصر للحالة العقلية (MMSE)،وعلى مدى تفاعل الحالات مع البيئة الرقمية.

This study aims to propose an electronic version of the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and to assess its effectiveness through a neuropsychological field study conducted on three cases of patients with degenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis). The study was driven by questions regarding the effectiveness of the electronic version in the evaluation process, its sensitivity in detecting brain injuries, and the degree of patients’ interaction with the electronic version from the perspective of speech-language pathologists. The study adopted a descriptive methodology using a case study approach, applying the electronic version of the test to the selected sample. The results were analyzed based on performance metrics, response levels, and clinical observations from specialists. The hypotheses of the study were as follows: -We expect that assessing mental status using the electronic version of the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) will be effective. -The electronic version of the MMSE will maintain the same level of sensitivity as the paper-based version. -The cases will interact positively with the electronic version of the MMSE from the perspective of speech-language pathologists. The study results confirmed all three hypotheses. The electronic version demonstrated high effectiveness, preserved diagnostic sensitivity, and elicited positive and encouraging interactions from the patients, according to the specialists. Furthermore, the specialists emphasized the ease of use of the proposed electronic version of the MMSE and highlighted the patients’ positive engagement with the digital environment.
