| Abstract: | Artificial Intelligence and the Circular Economy are among the most important modern economic transformations. This study aims to shed light on Artificial Intelligence technologies, which are considered a strong driver for the transition to the Circular Economy that, in turn, works to achieve sustainable development. Looking at the experience of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was among the first Arab countries interested in Artificial Intelligence and the Circular Economy—both of which are a main axis in sustainable development strategies in Saudi Arabia—and by adopting the descriptive and analytical approaches, the study addressed the reality of Saudi initiatives in the Circular Carbon Economy and reviewed how Artificial Intelligence supports recycling and maintenance processes. It was concluded that the integration between the Circular Economy and Artificial Intelligence is considered a competitive advantage for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on one hand, and a means to achieve sustainable development on the other. Additionally, some suggestions were presented to better achieve technological and environmental integration |
