Abstract: The aim of the current research is to highlight the role of digitalization in facilitating financial inclusion in Algeria using a descriptive methodology in evaluating the indicators of digitalization and financial inclusion. The findings show that digitalization has been instrumental in widening the scope of financial services delivery. Nevertheless, the degree of digitalization in Algeria is still quite low, mainly because of insufficient digital infrastructure and poor legal and regulatory frameworks concerning digital domain. This problem has also negatively impacted the level of trust and security associated with electronic payments. This problem has, in turn, had an impact on the quality of services offered by commercial banks and Algeria Post, despite the attempts to develop their networks in various parts of the country. Therefore, the development of digital infrastructure is a crucial condition for ensuring the success of financial inclusion in the entire country
