Abstract: This study aims to analyze the impact of trade liberalization on the promotion of nonhydrocarbon exports in Algeria during the period 2014–2024 using a descriptive analytical approach based on official data. The results show that non-hydrocarbon exports remain weak, not exceeding 7% of total exports despite reforms. The improvement in trade after 2021 was mainly driven by rising energy prices. The study concludes that trade liberalization has not achieved structural transformation in exports, highlighting the need for industrial and productive reforms
