The effectiveness of parallelism in the cohesion of Abu Tammam's poetry

Abstract

يهدف البحثُ إلى دراسةِ فاعلية التوازي في تماسك شعر أبي تمام، لذا يبدأ بكلام يتضمن الحديث على دلالةِ المصطلح، ثم يُثني بدراسة التوازي في شعر الطائي من خلال ثلاثة أشكال هي: التّوازي النّحوي، التّوازي الصّرفي، التّوازي النّحوي والصّرفي. من هنا نطرح الإشكال الآتي: هل يمكن للتوازي في شعر الطائي أن يسهم في تماسك نصه وترابطه؟ فيتجاوز بذلك المفهوم الذي قصره على الزينة الشكلية؟ وللإجابة عن هذا السؤال اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي بوصفه المنهج الأنسب لمثل هذا النوع من الدراسة. وانتهى إلى أنّ للتوازي في شعر أبي تمام دوراً متميزاً في البنية الإيقاعية والدلالية والانفعالية وفي تماسكه وترابطه. The research aims to study the effectiveness of parallelism in creating cohesion in Abu Tammam’s poetry. Therefore, it begins with a discussion of the meaning of the term, and then proceeds to study parallelism in Al-Ta’i’s poetry through three forms: grammatical parallelism, morphological parallelism, and grammatical and morphological parallelism. From here we raise the following question: Can parallelism in Al-Ta’i’s poetry contribute to the coherence and cohesion of his text? Thus, it transcends the concept that he limited to formal embellishment? To answer this question, the research adopted the descriptive-analytical method as the most suitable approach for this type of study. It concluded that parallelism in Abu Tammam's poetry plays a distinctive role in its rhythmic, semantic, and emotional structure, as well as in its cohesion and coherence.
