Abstract: The study aims to examine the concept of the fragile state and the threats to political stability in the African Sahel region, by studying the foundations of fragility in Niger, which is considered a clear model that makes it an ideal case for understanding the phenomenon. In the end, we concluded that Niger's fragile condition generates instability, and this instability, in turn, deepens the fragility. Consequently, security and military solutions alone are insufficient. Instead, addressing the roots of the crisis requires an integrated approach. The stability of Niger is a critical test not only for its people but for the stability of the entire Sahel region and the international community
