الرمز في رواية نهاية الأمس لعبد الحميد بن هدوقة

Abstract

تتناول هذه الدراسة آليات اشتغال الرمز في رواية «نهاية الأمس» لعبد الحميد بن هدوقة، ضمن مقاربة سيميائية. وينقسم البحث إلى جانب نظري يحدد مفهوم الرمز وتطوره في النقد العربي الحديث، وجانب تطبيقي يحلل وظائف الرمز داخل النص الروائي. ركز التحليل على كيفية توظيف الكاتب للرموز ذات البعد الاجتماعي والسياسي للتعبير عن إشكالية التحول والانقطاع بين مرحلتين تاريخيتين. كما بينت الدراسة دور المكان والشخصيات بوصفهما حقولًا دلالية تشتغل فيها الدلالة الرمزية، بعيدًا عن الخطاب المباشر. وكان الهدف الكشف عن البنية الدلالية الخفية التي بنى عليها النص، وإبراز كيف يسهم الرمز في تكثيف المعنى وإضفاء بعد تأويلي على الرواية

Cette étude porte sur les mécanismes du fonctionnement du symbole dans le roman Nihayat Al-Ams (La Fin d'hier) d'Abdelhamid Benhadouga, selon une approche sémiotique. La recherche se compose d'une partie théorique consacrée à la définition du concept de symbole et à son évolution dans la critique arabe moderne, ainsi que d'une partie analytique qui étudie les fonctions du symbole au sein du texte romanesque. L'analyse met l'accent sur la manière dont l'auteur mobilise des symboles à portée sociale et politique afin d'exprimer la problématique de la transformation et de la rupture entre deux périodes historiques. L'étude montre également le rôle du lieu et des personnages en tant que champs sémantiques où se déploie la signification symbolique, loin du discours direct. Elle vise à mettre en évidence la structure sémantique profonde sur laquelle repose le texte et à montrer comment le symbole contribue à densifier le sens et à conférer au roman une dimension herméneutique.

This study examines the mechanisms of symbolic functioning in *Nihayat Al-Ams* (*The End of Yesterday*) by Abdelhamid Benhadouga through a semiotic approach. The research is divided into two parts: a theoretical section that defines the concept of the symbol and traces its development in modern Arabic criticism, and an applied section that analyzes the functions of symbolism within the novel. The analysis focuses on how the author employs symbols with social and political dimensions to express the issue of transformation and discontinuity between two historical periods. The study also demonstrates the role of place and characters as semantic fields in which symbolic meaning operates beyond direct discourse. Its main objective is to uncover the underlying semantic structure upon which the text is constructed and to show how symbolism intensifies meaning and gives the novel its interpretative dimension.
