This study focuses on production engineering in the mature Hassi Messaoud field, aiming to address the decline in well productivity caused by reservoir pressure depletion and technical challenges associated with field maturity. The study adopts a systematic methodology that begins with a rigorous diagnosis of production anomalies using advanced tools such as Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA) and Nodal Analysis. This workflow helps identify whether the decline stems from reservoir mechanisms (such as water or gas coning), wellbore issues (such as formation damage / Skin Effect), or surface constraints like artificial lift inefficiencies and scale/organic deposits. Based on the diagnostic results, the study evaluates the available remediation and stimulation solutions, including matrix acidizing to remove near-wellbore damage, hydraulic fracturing to enhance flow paths in tight zones, water/gas shutoff techniques, and the optimization of gas lift systems. Finally, this integrated workflow is practically validated through a case study of three real wells (MD-800, MD-819, and RDC-30), demonstrating successful well revitalization. The study concludes with engineering recommendations for future well operations and long-term reservoir management to mitigate rapid production decline.en_US
