| dc.description.abstract | This dissertation is devoted to the generalization of quantum mechanics through the introduction of the Dunkl derivative, a mathematical extension that incorporates reflection symmetry and leads to a modification of the fundamental algebraic structure of quantum systems, particularly the commutation relation between position and momentum. In this context, the theoretical frameworks of Wigner and Yang are first revisited, highlighting the possibility of re-examining the conventional foundations of quantum mechanics. Subsequently, the mathematical formalism of the Dunkl derivative is developed, and its main properties are analyzed, especially its impact on the functional space, which naturally decomposes into even and odd subspaces. The proposed framework is then applied to several important physical systems, both in the non-relativistic and relativistic regimes, through the study of bound states and scattering phenomena in models such as the harmonic oscillator, potential step, potential barrier, and Pöschl–Teller potential. The results reveal that the inclusion of the Dunkl derivative induces significant modifications in the energy spectrum, wave functions, and transmission coefficients, while preserving the exact solvability of the studied systems. Finally, it is shown that standard quantum mechanics is recovered as a limiting case when the deformation parameter vanishes, thereby confirming the consistency and relevance of this generalized approach. | en_US |
