Etude onomastique dans « Mille soleils splendides » de khaled housseini.

Abstract

Ce mémoire examine l’onomastique, c’est-à-dire l’étude des noms propres, dans le roman A Thousand Splendid Suns de Khaled Hosseini. L’objectif de cette recherche est d’analyser la signification des noms des personnages et des lieux présents dans le récit et d’étudier leur rôle dans la construction du sens du roman. À travers une approche analytique et interprétative, cette étude met en évidence les dimensions culturelles, sociales et symboliques des noms attribués aux personnages et aux espaces. Elle montre également comment ces noms reflètent l’identité culturelle afghane et renforcent les thèmes principaux de l’œuvre, tels que la souffrance, la résilience et l’espoir. Les résultats révèlent que les noms dans ce roman ne sont pas choisis au hasard, mais constituent des éléments narratifs porteurs de sens qui enrichissent la caractérisation des personnages et approfondissent la compréhension du récit.

This dissertation explores onomastics, the study of names, in the novel A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. The research aims to analyze the significance of personal and place names used in the narrative and to examine how these names contribute to the construction of meaning within the novel. Through an analytical and interpretative approach, the study investigates the cultural, social, and symbolic dimensions of the names attributed to the characters and locations. It also highlights how these names reflect the Afghan cultural identity and reinforce the major themes of the novel, including suffering, resilience, and hope. The findings demonstrate that names in the novel are not randomly chosen but function as meaningful narrative elements that enrich characterization and deepen the reader’s understanding of the story.

تتناول هذه المذكرة علم الأسماء )الأنوماستيك(في رواية ألف شمس مشرقة للكاتب خالد حسيني. وتهدف الد ارسة إلى تحليل دلالات أسماء الشخصيات و الأماكن الواردة في الروايةواب ارز دورها في بناء المعنى داخل النص الروائي وتعتمد هذه الد ارسة على المنهج التحليليالتفسيري للكشف عن الأبعاد الثقافية والاجتماعية والرمزية للاسماء المستخدمة في الرواية.كماتسعى الى توضيح كيف تعكس هذه الأسماء الهوية الثقافية للمجتمع الأفغاني وتساهم في اب ارزالموضوعات الرئيسية للعمل مثل المعاناة والصمود والامل وقد أظهرت نتائج الد ارسة أن الأسماء في الرواية لم تستخدم بشكل عشوائي، بل جاءت كعناصر سردية ذات دلالات عميقة تسهم في بناء الشخصيات وتعزيز فهم القارئ للأحداث
