التنبؤ اللحظي بالناتج المحلي الإجمالي في الجزائر باستخدام نموذج MIDAS وربطه بمؤشرات سلوك المستهلك (2000-2024)

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التنبؤ اللحظي بالناتج المحلي الإجمالي في الجزائر من خلال توظيف نموذج MIDAS الذي يسمح بدمج بيانات اقتصادية ذات تواتر مختلف. وتنبع أهمية الدراسة من تأخر نشر بيانات الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، مما يعيق التقييم الآني للوضع الاقتصادي. تعتمد الدراسة على منهج كمي تحليلي، حيث يتم استخدام مجموعة من المؤشرات الاقتصادية البديلة التي تعكس سلوك المستهلك، مثل الاستهلاك الأسري، ومعدل التضخم، ومعدل البطالة، ومعدل الادخار. كما يتم مقارنة أداء نموذج MIDAS مع بعض النماذج القياسية التقليدية، مع الاعتماد على مؤشرات RMSE و MAE لتقييم دقة التنبؤ. وتسعى الدراسة إلى اختبار مدى قدرة هذا النموذج على تحسين التنبؤات قصيرة الأجل في الحالة الجزائرية، وتقديم نتائج يمكن أن تدعم عملية اتخاذ القرار الاقتصادي

This study aims to nowcast Algeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by applying the MIDAS model, which allows the integration of mixed-frequency economic data. The importance of this study arises from the delay in the publication of GDP data, which limits real-time economic assessment. The study adopts a Quantitative analytical approach, using alternative economic indicators that reflect consumer behavior, including household consumption, inflation rate, unemployment rate, and savings rate. The performance of the MIDAS model is compared with traditional econometric models, using RMSE and MAE as evaluation metrics. The study seeks to assess the ability of the MIDAS model to improve short-term forecasting accuracy in the Algerian context and provide insights to support economic decision-making
