In this work, BaBiO₃ and NiAlO₃ perovskites were prepared by a green synthesis method using Citrullus colocynthis extract, within an eco-friendly approach aimed at reducing the use of toxic chemical reagents. The plant extracts were used as reducing and stabilizing agents during the preparation of the materials from chemical precursors. The obtained samples were then characterized using different techniques such as UVVisible spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).The photocatalytic and antibacterial activity was studied to highlight the potential applications of the prepared materials, and it yielded outstanding photocatalytic performance in methylene blue degradation under solar irradiation, combined with a high biological activity against the Escherichia coli strain. These results reflect the efficiency of the green synthesis approach in enhancing the functional properties of perovskites, confirming their potential as sustainable and effective solutions for environmental and biomedical applications-
