This study aimed to evaluate the impact of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems on the performance of green supply chains in oil companies, particularly Sonatrach, starting from the third January 2026, when the ERP system was implemented at the company and marked a growing trend toward digital transformation and environmental sustainability. A descriptive-analytical approach was adopted, using a questionnaire to collect the necessary information and statistical data with the aid of SPSS software. The study’s results showed that the implementation of ERP systems significantly contributes to improving the performance of green supply chains by enhancing information integration, improving decision-making, reducing resource waste, as well as improving the efficiency of logistics operations and reducing the environmental impact. The results also indicated that the effectiveness of these systems varies depending on the level of technology adoption, user proficiency, and the extent to which the system aligns with the organization’s environmental goals. Despite these positives, the study revealed certain challenges, such as high implementation costs, the need for human resource development, and the difficulty of fully integrating environmental considerations into some traditional operations. In light of this, the study recommended expanding the integrated use of ERP systems, while strengthening the environmental dimension within these systems and intensifying training programs, thereby contributing to improved environmental and logistical performance and enhancing the competitiveness of oil companies.-
