Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of software based teaching in Physics in improving scientific thinking skills for the student of the Second Year “Secondary School” Experimental Sciences Branch. To achieve this aim we adopted the experimental method to design an experiment based on a single group. Which underwent a pre-test and a post-test. And the analysis of the data gave us the following (findings/results): 1- There is statistically significant differences between the results of the pre-test and to post-test in the “skills of scientific thinking” in favour of the pre-test. 1-1- there is statistically significant differences between the results of the pre-test and to post-test in the “skill of memorisation” in favour of the pre-test. 1-2- there is statistically significant differences between the results of the pre-test and to post-test in the “skill of collection of information” in favour of the pre-test. 1-3- there is statistically significant differences between the results of the pre-test and to post-test in the “skill of organisation” in favour of the pre-test. 1-4- there is statistically significant differences between the results of the pre-test and to post-test in the “skill of analysis” in favour of the pre-test
