Abstract: The study aimed toidentify theconcept of development andthe role of themanand teacherin thedevelopment from the perspective ofuniversity students andthe effect ofvariablesex. UsingScaleappreciation consists of 24items, applied toa sample of183students fromsectionsof psychology andsociologyat the University ofMascara andRelizaneUniversity Center, and the results wereas follows: 1 -There is a goodperceptionamong studentsof the University ofthe concept of developmentand the negativeperception of the roleof man,andunsatisfactoryfor the role ofthe teacher. 2 -There isno statistically significantdifferenceattributed to thesex variablein the perception ofstudents.
