DE LA LITTÉRATURE DANS LA REVUE AFRICAINE

Abstract

La Revue africaine, journal des travaux de la Société Historique Algérienne, renferme une richesse documentaire considérable qui explore l’Algérie et d’autres régions de l’Afrique du Nord, dans tous les domaines, pour permettre au colonisateur de tout connaître sur le pays qu’il colonise.

La littérature est l’un des domaines de recherche de La Revue africaine, dans lequel s’est investi un nombre non négligeable de collaborateurs, aussi bien militaires qu'universitaires. Ils se sont ainsi adonnés à la collecte et la critique de textes littéraires relevant du patrimoine populaire algérien.

Cette collaboration qui a trait à la littérature constitue l’objet de notre étude. Entre productions littéraires des « indigènes» et critiques de Français faites sur celles-ci et sur le peuple algérien colonisé de manière générale, est construit notre corpus. En portant un regard postcolonial sur ces différents articles, nous trouvons que la publication de la littérature, en plus de son apport documentaire, dévoile aussi l’idéologie coloniale des différents auteurs et collaborateurs de la revue, qui sont majoritairement imprégnés du courant orientaliste faisant de l’Orient un objet de fantasme et de mépris.

المجلة الإفريقية، جريدة تنشر أعمال المنظمة الاستعمارية المسماة ب "المجتمع التاريخي الجزائري". تزخر هذه المجلة بثروة وثائقية هائلة تضم عددا معتبرا من الأبحاث حول الجزائر و بعض بلدان شمال إفريقيا. و ذلك ليتمكن المستعمر من رصد جميع ما يتعلق بالبلد الذي يستعمره. الأدب، واحد من مجالات البحث الذي برزت فيه المجلة الإفريقية و هو مجال اهتم به العديد من المتعاونين الذين اعتادوا النشر في المجلة من عسكريين و جامعيين ممن قاموا بجمع العديد من النصوص الأدبية الشعبية في كل نواحي البلد المستعمر، و هو مجال بحثنا ذاته. فبحثنا هذا يهتم بدراسة نصوص من الأدب الشعبي الجزائري بالفترة الاستعمارية، وأعمال أدبية لباحثين فرنسيين بالمجال ذاته، مما نشر بالمجلة الإفريقية، وذلك باعتماد المنهج البحثي "الما بعد استعماري" تؤكد نتائج بحثنا أن المقالات الأدبية المنشورة بالمجلة الإفريقية، إضافة على كونها مرجع وثائقي هام، تكشف عن الإيديولوجية استعمارية لمعظم المتعاملين و الكتاب الفرنسيين المشبعين بأفكار عنصرية وليدة التيار الإستشراقي السائد بالفترة الاستعمارية و التي تجعل من الشرق مكانا يوحي بالخيال و الازدراء.

The African Review, magazine of the Algerian Historical Society works, contains considerable documentary that explores different fields of Algeria and other parts of North Africa, to enable the colonizer knows everything about the country it colonizes. Literature is one of the research areas of the African review in which has invested a significant number of employees, both military and academics. They were engaged in the collection and criticism of literary texts, taking from the Algerian popular heritage This collaboration comes to literature constitute the subject of our study. Between literary "indigenous" productions, critics of French, is done this latter and on the Algerian colonized people as whole, is built our corpus. Having a postcolonial look at these articles, we find out that the publication of literature , in addition to its documentary contribution, it also reveals the colonial ideology of the different authors and contributors of the magazine, who are mostly impregnated by the orientalist trend , making the Orient an object of fantasy and contempt.
