Abstract: | The permanent magnets have magnetic and geometrical characteristics. their applications is
vast the engines alternators… etc the application studied in our work is particularly magnetic
separation. The Mathematical modeling form of devise by equation EDP and resolution from
the numerical method, of the permanent magnets. The objective was to show the influence of
the various parameters which are introduced into the interaction between the magnetic
separator and the ferrous particle, as the distance size of the particles and the magnetization of
the magnets. This was carried out in a numerical way using software COMSOL for the
magnetostatic case in 2D.
