dc.description.abstractLaurus nobilis for better quality of medicinal and aromatic plants. The essential oil was obtained by steam distillation using a Clevenger-type apparatus for three hours after the onset of the first drop of distillate. The results obtained show that the water content of the plant material decreases during drying and becomes almost constant at the end of the period. We have seen that the best yield is obtained after the 9th day of drying which gives a better result (0.78%) for industrial exploitationen_US
