Abstract

The region of Oued Righ is part of the lower Sahara which is a geographical unit where the water richness favorable to the demographic increases and extensions agricultural. Among the problems most often mentioned are those relating to distribution networks. Natural waters contain various chemical compounds that are in their dissolved form. One of them is calcium carbonate, whose equilibrium in water is subjected to interactions with carbon dioxide. The Oued Righ region faces this kind of problem (corrosion and scaling). It is in this perspective that we have considered, in any case, attempting to update the qualitative status of groundwater (CI and CT).
