Abstract: The purpose of the completion is to allow the effluent to flow from the bottom of the well to the surface but in the HMD field there are several problems such as the depletion of the reservoir pressure, the damage, and there exists also other type of problems caused by the dolomitic Lias table. For this, the correct choice of completion for the resolution of the problems is the parallel completion which makes it possible to maintain the production by lifting and desalting by the continuous injection of fresh water. The purpose of our study was to establish a completion change from the old completion and to see its impact on MDZ651 well productivity. Based on the study and simulation of PROSPER software on the MDZ651 well, the well is a good candidate for GLC parallel completion, and the use of this well can improve productivity and stabilize its behavior given the results obtained.
