Abstract: Ce travail est consacré à l’étude de potentiel de développement l'aquaponie en Algérie a travers installation un système pilot (Système Aquaponique modèle NFT) au niveau de l'exploitation de l'université de kasdi-Merbah Ouargla. Au terme de cette étude nous pouvons conclure que la construction de systèmes aquaponiques en NFT est relativement réalisable à Ouargla avec du matériel disponible localement, et sa construction et sa maintenance n’exige pas de grande compétence technique. La durée de l’essai constituant une des limites de cette étude, les résultats obtenus ne nous permettent pas encore de déterminer la rentabilité du système. Cependant nous pouvons prévoir qu’il sera plus rentable si nous lui donnons tout le temps dont il a besoin. Pour cela, il ressort de cette étude que: L’eau d’élevage qui circule dans le circuit aquaponique fermé est de bonne qualité si on réfère au tableau qui résume l’exigence du Tilapia à certains facteurs abiotiques (T, pH, ammoniac,...). L’augmentation de croissance des poissons Tilapia en poids et en taille davantage dans le milieu aquaponique que dans le milieu témoin mais en fonction de temps. Un bon rendement de la laitue (proche de la norme), et une bonne morphologie. Cycle courte et récolte facile des plantes pendant 50 jours contre 45-75 jours dans le sol.

This work is devoted to the study of the development potential of aquaponics in Algeria through the installation of a pilot system (Aquaponics System model NFT) at the operation level of the university of Kasdi-Merbah Ouargla.At the end of this study we can conclude that the construction of aquaponics systems in NFT is relatively feasible in Ouargla with locally available material, and its construction and maintenance does not require great technical skill. Since the duration of the test is one of the limitations of this study, the results obtained do not yet allow us to determine the profitability of the system. However, we can predict that it will be more profitable if we give it all the time it needs. For this, it emerges from this study that:The rearing water that circulates in the closed aquaponics circuit is of good quality if we refer to the table which summarizes the requirement of Tilapia with certain abiotic factors (T, pH, ammonia, etc.Tilapia fish growth increase in weight and size more in the aquaponics medium than in the control medium but as a function of time. A good yield of lettuce (close to the norm), and a good morphology. Short cycle and easy harvest of plants for 50 days versus 45-75 days in the soil
