CALCUL DE FOX ET APPLICATION

Abstract

L’objet de ce mémoire est l’étude de l’espace de représentations d’un groupe de surface à valeur dans un groupe de Lie et l’analyse d’un résultat de Goldman [2] qui montre que, sous certaines conditions sur 𝐺, l’espace tangent de Zariski de Hom(𝜋, 𝐺) peut être étudié et sa dimension peut être calculée à l’aide du calcul de Fox.

The object of this thesis is the study of the space of representations of a surface group with values in a Lie group and the analysis of a result of Goldman [2] which shows that, under certain conditions on 𝐺, the Zariski tangent space of Hom(𝜋, 𝐺) can be studied and its dimension can be calculated using Fox’s calculus.
