Abstract: The aim of this study is to identify the factorial structure of the social skills scale in children with autism spectrum disorders. The SCOTT BILLINI (2006) scale was used with 183 autistic children after it had been translated and its psychometric properties verified using the validity of content and validity of the exploratory factorial analysis, which resulted in three dimensions that we renamed according to their content. We also conducted Cronbach’s Alpha test to measure the internal consistency of the scale. In the end, we presented a summary of the new dimensions of the scale.
