Translating Military Terminology

Abstract

This research examines the translation challenges inherent to military terminology, focusing specifically on the translation of English military terminology into Arabic. It highlights the linguistic and semantic disparities between the two languages, underscoring the complexities faced by translators lacking sufficient military expertise. Employing a descriptive analytical method, the study aims to elucidate these intricacies and explore strategies employed by translators to address them.Data sourced from diverse, credible outlets provide a comprehensive understanding of the contextual nuances involved in translating military terms. The central research question revolves around the translatability of military terminology into Arabic and the efficacy of proposed solutions in mitigating translation difficulties.

L’étude est parlée des difficultés de traduction des terminologies militaires, elle concentrée spécialement en la traduction des terminologies militaire de français vers l’arabe, mettre en évidence les différences linguistique entre les deux langues l’anglais et l’arabe, soulignant les problèmes rencontré par l’interprète qui n’a pas une expérience militaire suffisante, recours au la méthode analytique descriptive, L’étude efforcé à clarifier les détails compliqués et découvrir des stratégies pour les données provenant des sources valables fournir une explication et compréhension approfondie des détails contextuelspour la traduction des textes militaires. La question fondamentale de de la recherche est la viabilité de traduction les terminologies militaire. Quelles est l’efficacité des solutions afin de contrôler les problèmes de traduction ? Les résultats de l’étude indique que le traducteur doit avoir une expérience militaire afin de réaliser une traduction précisé et éxact.
