Abstract: This work aims to determine the concentrations of caffeine experimentally and compare it with the concentration written on the packaging of energy drinks, namely Tianti, Rami Wild Buffalo, and Ism Energy, and determine their suitability for consumption. This is through the process of extracting caffeine from tea because it is not available in its pure state, using the liquidliquid extraction technique, preparing the reference standard solution based on the extracted caffeine, preparing standard solutions based on the reference standard solution, and drawing the standard curve for caffeine. On the other hand, we determined the absorbances of the study samples at The wavelength is 300 nm, and then we determine the corresponding concentrations based on the standard curve for caffeine and compare the results we obtained with those found in the product. The results were very close. The results showed that the experimental concentration for the Tianti sample was 17.99 mg in a volume of 100 ml, and for the Isem Energy sample it was 32.10 mg in a volume of 100 ml, while for the Rami Weld Buffalo sample, the experimental concentration was 21.34 mg in a volume of 100 ml. This is on the one hand, and on the other hand, we By selecting a sample of students from the faculties of the University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla, at various levels and specializations, about 220 students, we distributed an electronic and paper questionnaire to them about the consumption of energy drinks among the students. Their results were 55% of females and 45% of them males. 91 of the students who consume it and 9 of the students who do not consume it. The highest percentage of the reason for consuming it is that it 27 keeps them awake for a long time.
