Abstract: This theoretical and experimental study explores natural alternatives for CO₂ removal in refiningusingcarbonicanhydraseenzymesextractedfromlocalalgaeinAlgeria.Twoprotocols were tested, and results showed that Protocol 2 offered better enzyme purity and CO₂ absorption. Algae such as Cladophora and Ulvaceae achieved yields up to 96%, proving the potential of bio-based solutions.
