Abstract: In this modest contribution to reservoir characterization, we explore the Hassi Berkine BBK field within Algeria’s Berkine Basin using OBMI and UBI borehole imaging tools. These techniques provide valuable insights into the field’s sedimentary structures, fracture systems, and borehole stability. By carefully combining electrical and acoustic imaging data, we aim to better understand subsurface heterogeneity and support more accurate geological interpretations. The findings may help inform improved reservoir models and contribute, in a small way, to more effective hydrocarbon development strategies.
