Abstract: تتميز النباتات البرية الصحراوية بقدرات التكيف خاصة تسمح لها بالنمو في البيئة القاسية صحراوية على غرار العديد من النباتات الصحراوية, يعتبر نبات حنة الإبل صنف نباتي مثير للإهتمام بشكل خاص من وجهة نظر علاجية, حيث بينت العديد من الدراسات في علم النباتات القديم إلى استخدام هذا النوع من النبات في علاج المشاكل الصحية المختلفة (مرض السكري,الأمراض الجلدية وضد لدغة العقرب),حيث تمكنت الدراسات التجريبية الحديثة لمستخلصات هذا النبات, بما في ذلك المضادة لمرض السكر, مضادة للأكسدة, مضادات الالتهاب, حيث أظهرت نتائج البحوث التي أجريت على هذا الصنف النباتي, أن غنية بمختلف المركبات الكيميائية الثانوية, مما يعطي هذا النبات أهمية بالغة وموضوع عمل بحثي قيم
Abstract: Desert wild plants are characterized by special adaptive abilities that allow them to grow in the harsh desert environment. Like many desert plants, Camel Henna (Oudneya africana, Brassicaceae) is a particularly interesting plant species from a medicinal point of view. Several studies in ancient botany have shown the use of this type of plant in treating various health problems (diabetes, skin diseases, and scorpion stings). Modern experimental studies have identified extracts from this plant, including anti-diabetic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Research results on this plant species have shown Research results that Oudneya africana is rich in various secondary chemical compounds, giving this plant great importance and making it a valuable subject of research
