Various types of formation damage can occur in oil and gas wells, resulting from either continuous production or well intervention operations such as workovers, completions, and stimulations. acidizing is a primary stimulation technique implemented to enhance well productivity or injectivity. This is achieved by injecting tailored acid systems into the formation at a pressure strictly below the formation fracturing pressure to effectively dissolve near-wellbore impairment Especially Matrix Acidizing . Based on our field case study of two wells in Hassi Messaoud and Bir Berkine, which exhibit distinct reservoir rock mineralogies and petrophysical properties, each well required a specific acid formulation to optimize damage removal. This targeted treatment successfully restored flow capacity, leading to a substantial increase in the well flow rate and a significant improvement in the Productivity Index (PI).en_US
