In this Master’s thesis titled “Fabrication of solar cells using spray pyrolysis technique “, the synthesis and characterization of inexpensive and environmentally friendly junction thin film solar cells have been studied. This thin film photovoltaics can be seen as an alternative source of energy generation from solar energy which has a great potential in Algeria. Thin films of p-type CuO and n-type ZnO were grown using the CSP technique on glass substrates at a temperature of 300 C with acetate precursor solutions. Characterizations were performed to demonstrate high window layer transmittance, good light absorbance, and good interface contact quality.en_US
