Abstract

This study aimed to know the effect of supply chains on the performance of companies and to give a set of definitions for the supply chain and its relationship to other functions, as well as the importance of logistics for companies and institutions to increase market share thereby increasing competitiveness with other companies. The researcher of this study during the field study of the company T.G.C.T.P (flattening , civil engineering Works and petroleum) and interest in supply chains. This study concluded that a set of results , most notably : the existence of a significant impact on the supply chain performance of the oil companies , through a period of achievement to earn the trust of the customer , as well as to increase the competitiveness and research on new markets. In light of the findings of a god we made some recommendations, including : that the company sees that management optimization of the supply sources incentive that encourages companies to develop its relationship with its partners in the supply chain , the companies are working to acquire the elements that support the flexibility of supply , especially if there has more than qualified supplier , and good coordination between the company and the supplier specially in cases of increased demand.
