Present Simple and Continuous Aspects Translation. An Error Analysis Investigation Case Study: Third Year students of English at Ouargla University

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the present simple and continuous aspects translation through the error analysis approach in both languages English-Arabic. The case study was third year students of English at Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla. The data of this study were gathered via a test delivered randomly to twenty students. The sampling strategy is called simple random sampling, which is one type of random/probability sampling strategies. The results have shown that the favor and the context are the two main reasons that cover any translation.تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقصي ترجمة المظهرين الحاضر البسيط و المستمر و ذلك من خلال مقاربة تحليل الاخطاء في كلا اللغتين العربية و كذلك الانجليزية. العينة كانت طلبة السنة الثانية انجليزية في جامعة قاصدي مرباح بورقلة و المعلومات التي جمعت كانت من خلال اجراء اختبار لعشرين طالب اختيروا عشوائيا. و لقد اخترنا استراتيجية تسمى باستراتيجية العينة العشوائية البسيطة وهي أحد استراتيجيات الأخذ بالعينة العشوائية/ الإحتمالية. أظهرت النتائج أن السياق و الاستحسان هما العصران الأساسيان اللذان يغطيان كل الترجمة.

Cette étude vise à étudier la traduction actuelle des aspects simples et continus à travers l'approche d'analyse d'erreurs dans les deux langues anglais-arabe. L'étude de cas concernait des étudiants de troisième année d'anglais à l'Université Kasdi Merbah à Ouargla. Les données de cette étude ont été recueillies via un test administré au hasard à vingt étudiants. La stratégie d'échantillonnage est appelée échantillonnage aléatoire simple, qui est un type de stratégies d'échantillonnage aléatoire/probabilité. Les résultats ont montré que la faveur et le contexte sont les deux principales raisons qui couvrent toute traduction
