Abstract: This study aime to test the dimension’s impact of work life quality according to the Brooks and Anderson scale, on job burnout according to the Maslach scale, using the questionnaire as a tool to collect the necessary data on the study variables, by distributing it to a sample of 54 nurses from Emergency Department of Mustapha Pacha Hospital in Algeria, and the results are analyzed by using the program of SPSS v21. The result of this study reveal that there is a low level of quality work life and a high level of burnout, however there is no impact of work life/home life dimension and work design dimension on burnout, while there is an impact of work context dimension and work world dimension on burnout in the institution that being studied, this allowed to suggest viable recommendations that would contribute to strengthening of quality of work life and minimize job burnout
