Abstract: This study investigates the solid-liquid mixing dynamics within a mechanically stirred tank using numerical simulation. The analysis focuses on the behavior of a turbulent flow generated by impellers, combining both axial and axial-radial flow patterns to interact with the fluid. By tracking particle movement from an initial state of gravitational sedimentation to a fully developed suspension, the results demonstrate how the mechanical energy induced by the rotating blades effectively overcomes gravity. This generalized approach evaluates mixing efficiency and ensures continuous phase homogeneity in industrial applications
